Choosing Hope

A love note on hope... aka thoughts from my journaling.

Hope feels better than fear...
But can we trust it?
That's the problem, right?
Bad things happen and we teach ourselves
not to hope. Not to trust.

But have you seen what He's done with the ashes?

Have you seen the salvation He brought you through?
Through giving Himself to the world,
And the world taking His life.

And yet, He still believes in every one of us.
He still gives grace,
breathes mercy,
chooses love.

He gives hope even when we chose despair
