Fall 2018 Capsule Picks

Capsule-Wardrobe-Fall-2018-1.jpg

Fall is my favorite time of year and my FAVORITE time to dress for! I put together some great (and trendy) pieces that you can mix and match to make getting dressed super easy and always stylish this fall. Let me know what you think of this affordable fall 2018 capsule wardrobe in the comments below!

SWEATERS (MY FAVE!)

We all know that sweaters are THE best for fall! For your capsule wardrobe I'd suggest a couple of cowl or turtle neck options with one or two open knit sweaters. Style tip: layer your cowl neck with a longer patterned top for extra texture!

TOPS
I always love choosing tops that I can dress up or down depending on the occasion. Most of these options look casual but you can take them next level with a few quick tricks. Tucking your top into a high waisted jean (with heels) always dresses it up! You can also layer it with a dressier sweater or coat and add a long necklace!

BOTTOMS
I always choose a basic black jean (I own the plain pair below) that I can dress up or down. You'll notice I'm almost ALWAYS wearing black jeans (seriously, just look at my instagram), but it's always good to have one or two other options in case of a dressier event or if you just want to lighten it up a bit!

OUTERWEAR
Here's a little mix of everything! The best part about these options is that you can layer them! (PS. I got that camo jacket and it is currently on repeat).

SHOES
A shoe for every occasion! Sticking with nudes makes it easiest to pair your shoes with almost any outfit. I don't wear heels very often so I make sure to have a classic black heel on hand at all times! You can't go wrong with black!

FASHION PIECES
You totally don't NEED these for your capsule but you totally need these. (I own the pink shoes & bag and I'm eyeing that leopard print jacket....)

I hope you found a few things that work for your fall wardrobe this year! I'd love to know which ones you like best in the comments below!
With love,
