Bermuda Cruise | Travel Guide

Bermuda-Cruise-Vlog.jpg

In early June, I got to go on a cruise to Bermuda for one of my best friends' weddings and it was such a good time! Check out the vlog below and my quick travel guide for one day in Bermuda!

THE CRUISE LINE

We cruised to Bermuda on the Grandeur of the Seas which is a Royal Caribbean ship. I've traveled on Royal Caribbean before and I'd definitely recommend this cruise line.

My good friend Rebekah was my wedding + cruise date! Isn't she the cutest?

This place was just unreal!

BERMUDA FOR A DAY

Since we were taking a short cruise and had a wedding, we really only had one day in Bermuda so we made the most of it! We were also on a budget so we made sure to only do things within walking distance of the Royal Navy Dockyard.

GLASS BEACH. This was our favorite part of our trip! It was a hidden gem that we sort of stumbled upon. When we found it we were totally shocked that no one else was even on the beach! The Sea Glass was beautiful but it was also super cool because it felt very local and further away from other tourists!

VICTUALLING YARD. You pretty much walk right into this when you arrive from the boat. It's a gorgeous place to have a picnic and stop for an Insta worthy photo op (as you can guess we definitely did)!

CLOCK TOWER SHOPPING MALL. This mall is the perfect place to pick up gifts or souvenirs for yourself & friends! There are a lot of local sellers here and you can definitely find some unique pieces of jewelry (including pink sand jewelry) in a few different shops!

DOCKYARD GLASSWORKS. This is such a cool little spot where you get to watch glassblowers at work! You can also grab a little treat from the Bermuda Rum Cake Company while you watch.

BERMUDA ARTS CENTRE. This was a really special place! We got to see local art and even learned a little about the history of Bermuda when we spoke to the woman working there.

If you end up having more time in Bermuda and are planning to stay a while, I would definitely recommend checking out Hamilton for better shopping,  Gibbs Hill Lighthouse for beautiful views, and the Fairmont Southampton for a luxurious stay. A few years back, my dad and I got to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed all of those spots!

Have you visited Bermuda? If so, I'd love to hear about the spots you visited!

With love,
